What is the difference between the Jamstik Standard and Jamstik Core?

The Jamstik Standard offers a more traditional full-size guitar configuration and expanded connectivity compared with the Jamstik Core. It features 24 frets, dual humbuckers, an internal rechargeable battery, Bluetooth MIDI, USB-C, TRS-MIDI, and a standard 1/4" guitar output.

The Core offers the same fundamental Jamstik approach to expressive MIDI control in a more streamlined, USB-powered design.

Does the Jamstik Standard support Bluetooth MIDI?

Yes. The Jamstik Standard supports Bluetooth MIDI for wireless MIDI control with compatible devices and software. It also supports wired MIDI over USB-C and TRS-MIDI.

Bluetooth MIDI transmits MIDI data rather than guitar audio.

Does the Jamstik Standard have a rechargeable battery?

Yes. The Jamstik Standard includes an internal rechargeable battery for MIDI operation without remaining connected to USB power.

Can I use the Jamstik Standard as a regular electric guitar?

Yes. The Jamstik Standard is also a fully playable electric guitar with dual humbuckers and a standard 1/4" output. You can use it with amps, pedals, modelers, and recording interfaces independently of MIDI.

What software is included with the Jamstik Standard?

A LOON software license is included at no additional cost with any purchase of a Jamstik MIDI Guitar. LOON can run standalone or within a compatible DAW and includes instruments, presets, effects, and tools for expressive MIDI performance.
