How does the Jamstik Core compare to the other Jamstik MIDI guitars?
The Jamstik Core is the most streamlined and accessible model in the Jamstik MIDI Guitar lineup. It combines Jamstik’s integrated per-string MIDI technology with a compact 22-fret guitar, single humbucker, USB-C connectivity, TRS-MIDI, and a standard 1/4" guitar output.
Unlike the Standard, Deluxe, and .strandberg* x Jamstik, the Core does not include an internal rechargeable battery or Bluetooth MIDI.
No. The Jamstik Core does not include Bluetooth MIDI. MIDI can be sent over USB-C or through the Core’s TRS-MIDI output.
If wireless MIDI is important to your setup, the Jamstik Standard, Deluxe, and .strandberg* x Jamstik Chameleon include Bluetooth MIDI.
Does the Jamstik Core need USB power?
Yes. The Jamstik Core is USB-powered and does not have an internal battery. Connect it to a compatible USB power source when using its MIDI functionality.
This is one I definitely want on Core because it's a meaningful distinction from the rest of the lineup.
Can I use the Jamstik Core as a regular electric guitar?
Yes. The Jamstik Core also functions as a traditional electric guitar. Its humbucker and standard 1/4" output can be connected to amps, pedals, modelers, and audio interfaces independently of its MIDI functionality.
