Playing Synthesizers with a Guitar | Visiting the Perfect Circuit Showroom

Playing Synthesizers with a Guitar | Visiting the Perfect Circuit Showroom

May 22, 2024

Exploring the fusion of strings and synth waves at Perfect Circuit's playground! Our team recently paid a visit to our distributors, Perfect Circuit, at their Burbank, CA showroom, where we delved into the possibilities of blending our guitars with synthesizers.

By utilizing the Jamstik's TRS-MIDI output, our MIDI guitars can drive and control any third-party analog hardware that accepts MIDI input! Included with your Jamstik is a 3.5mm TRS-MIDI adaptor. This can be used in conjunction with a standard 5 pin MIDI cable to control hardware keyboards or anything with a 5 pin MIDI in. If the particular piece of hardware you're trying to control has a 3.5mm MIDI input, no need to use an adapter, simply use any 3.5mm TRS aux cable.

If you have connection questions, follow our simple tutorial for tips and instructions on how to connect the Jamstik to analog hardware.

See the Jamstik control the Groove Synthesis 3rdWave wavetable synth, Roland's Juno X, Tiptop Audio's Eurorack modular system, and Erica Synths' Perkons HD-01 Drum Machine and Rhythm Synthesizer.
