The original, first generation jamstik is a great MIDI controller for FL Studio users looking to generate MIDI from a guitar interface. As you play the jamstik, your picking, strumming, hammer-ons, and pull-offs are all translated to MIDI in real time.
HOW DO I CONNECT?
FL Studio for PC/Windows (1st generation jamstik / jamstik+ with Bluetooth)
No bluetooth? No problem. To connect to a PC running FL Studio using either the original jamstik or the Bluetooth connected jamstik+, just use a wired connection with the supplied USB cable.
FL Studio Mobile for iOS (jamstik+ with Bluetooth connectivity)
To connect to an iPhone or iPad running FL Studio Mobile, first connect your jamstik+ to your device via Bluetooth using the official jamstik+ app (or GarageBand), then open FL Studio Mobile & you'll be connected.
DO I NEED TO INSTALL DRIVERS?
Nope, the jamstik will install it's own driver upon plug and play.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ORIGINAL JAMSTIK AND THE JAMSTIK+?
The main difference is that the original jamstik uses WiFi to connect rather than Bluetooth, but in regards to FL Studio, you will need to connect either jamstik model via USB cable. The jamstik+ will be tighter performing, but if you're just looking for a MIDI input device for recording or notation, the WiFi jamstik is a great option at a discounted price.
